“This is precisely the greatest strength of the entire album – both musicians do not play next to each other, but for each other. They listen to each other, react to each other in real time, and create a musical dialogue that feels alive even after repeated listenings. The album does not seem like a studio-polished product, but like an intimate concert recorded at the most precise possible moment. And it is thanks to this naturalness, humility towards the songs, and extraordinary musicianship that How Little We Dream has the strength to stand out not only as a quality jazz album, but above all as a deeply human and timeless statement.”

“The joint effort of Marta Kloučková and David Dorůžka far transcends genre boundaries and, although both protagonists grew up in jazz, "How Little We Dream" has the potential to captivate audiences regardless of genre. Not only with the stylistic dispersion of the source material, but mainly with the open mind with which they approach the original compositions and find something fresh and unheard in them.”

Everything here sounds superb. David's guitars and Marta's voice complement each other perfectly, and sometimes skillfully contrast. And just as the repertoire selection could surprise, so too the duo's interpretations often prove to be a surprise. And each time, these surprises are extremely positive. A superb album.
