Marta Kloučková is a prominent figure in the Czech jazz scene. A versatile singer, songwriter, and composer, she released her debut album Loving Season (Hevhetia) in 2018, which was recognized as one of the top Czech jazz albums of the year. Her jazz quintet features leading Czech musicians: David Dorůžka (guitar), Jaromír Honzák (double bass), Vít Křišťan (piano/fender) and Marek Urbánek (drums). Her work combines jazz tradition with original expression and poetry, which makes her perceived as one of the most unique contemporary faces of Czech jazz.

Marta has performed at major Czech jazz and multi-genre festivals, including Prague Spring, Smetanova Litomyšl, Prague Proms, Jazz Fest Přerov, and Dobršská Brána, as well as international stages such as Sunset-Sunside and Le Bal Blomet in Paris, Jazz Fest Steyr (Austria), and Jazzy Fest (Slovakia). In October 2022, she released her critically acclaimed second album Stopa snu (Hevhetia), praised for its songwriting, vocal performance, emotional depth, and the quintet's exceptional musicianship.

She has shared the stage with acclaimed vocalists Lizz Wright and Judith Hill, and in 2016, collaborated with French pianist and composer Thierry Maillard on the album Kingdom of Arwen. As a member of the award-winning vocal sextet SKETY (recipients of the 2014 Ward Swingle Award and multiple 2025 CARA Awards), Marta has toured across Europe, Australia, and Taiwan.

Through the international music platform Voicingers, Marta has performed in Slovakia, Poland, Latvia, and France. In March 2024, selections from Stopa snu were arranged by Petr Wajsar for a concert with the South Czech Philharmonic. Currently, she is working on her third album, a duo project with the acclaimed guitarist David Dorůžka.

Marta studied jazz at the Jaroslav Ježek College in Prague, following earlier training in performing arts at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. She also holds a master’s degree from the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague.

In addition to performing, she is a member of SKETY, Vojtěch Dyk & D.Y.K. and has collaborated across genres with artists and ensembles such as the Gustav Brom Big Band, B-Side Band, Barbora Poláková, the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, the South Czech Philharmonic, Clarinet Factory, and others.
